Reminders for the first day of travel:

1. Departure notice: We will send a text message before 18:00 on the day before travel to one of the travellers. Please check for it. The message contains a details link; open it to see your guide's information and the contact information for the travel coordinator throughout the trip. If you have not received the message, check whether one of your travelling companions has received it.

2. Station or airport transfers: According to your arrival train time, we will arrange a dedicated vehicle to collect you at Nanchang West Station, Nanchang Station or Changbei Airport and take you to the hotel arranged by us. If you purchase your main transport independently, note your train or flight details when booking so that we can promptly arrange a pickup driver.

* The dedicated-vehicle driver will telephone on the day before travel to confirm your arrival time. (Please note: Only one station pickup OR one station drop-off can be arranged per booking!)

3. Hotel information: The dedicated-vehicle driver will take you to the hotel. Present your identity document at reception to check in. No staff member accompanies you through hotel check-in on the first day, so contact us immediately if you encounter any problem at the hotel!

4. Guide information: The guide will telephone before 20:30 on the evening you check into the hotel, giving the meeting time and guide information. Keep your phone reachable. Specific meeting arrangements are subject to the guide's notice. If no notice is received, contact customer service or the local contact promptly.

5. Sightseeing information: Today is the arrival day. No unified itinerary is arranged; only station or airport pickup is provided. If you arrive early, explore Nanchang independently. During free time, take care of your personal safety and belongings.

6. Independent travellers join a shared group in Jiangxi.

Nanchang specialities popular in the city and surrounding area include white-sugar cake, Yuzhang crispy duck, Poyang Lake silverfish, Shitou Street fried dough twists, earthenware-pot soup and mixed rice noodles, Nanchang boiled snacks, Junshan Lake hairy crab, spicy lotus-root slices, Wanshou Palace madagun rice snacks, Wanshou Palace thick soup, stir-fried artemisia with cured pork and Huang Shang Huang foods. Guests may explore these foods independently. Nanchang food tends to be spicy; choose a spice level that suits you.
