Fried dough sticks with mochi combine a soft, sticky centre and a crisp exterior. Red bean and pork-floss flavours are recommended.
Soy milk: both hot and iced versions are available, usually CNY2 per serving.
Nanchang mixed rice noodles: the popular Xiaoluozi shop is worth trying.

The sculpture popularly called the 'Speechless Bodhisattva' is actually the Contemplative Arhat, one of ceramic master Zeng Longsheng's Eighteen Arhat Statues in Underglaze Colour. It is held in the Jingdezhen China Ceramic Museum.
The Jingdezhen China Ceramic Museum has far more than the 'Speechless Bodhisattva'. As a specialist ceramic museum, its strength is its porcelain collection.
Highlights include a Yuan blue-and-white meiping vase with scrolling peonies, a sky-blue-glazed meiping vase with cloud-shaped handles, and a famille-rose Hundred Deer vase with animal-mask handles.

Jingdezhen
The Sculpture Porcelain Factory has ceased production and is now a gathering place for young ceramic artists, as well as the location of a well-known market. Its comprehensive pottery facilities make it easy for artists to obtain clay and send formed pieces to kilns for firing, greatly reducing both production and labour costs. Taoshe also has pottery shops, cafés and workshops. Whether you want to try throwing a pot or study ceramics more systematically, this is one of Jingdezhen's best options. The Saturday market is also recognised locally as one of the city's highest-quality pottery markets.Jingdezhen Sculpture Porcelain Factory
